Flasken er cirka 10 cm høj og har en diameter på cirka 5,5 cm.
The glaze is created by means of salt, where salt is sprayed into the oven burning the crock - a tecnique which originates from the Middle Ages in France and Germany. The crocks are hand decoorated and then burned at stoneware temperature, about 1.300 degrees of celcius. During the burning, salt is sprayed into the oven. The salt will explode at that temperature and the contact with the clay surface a chemical reaction will occur and create a layer which is the glaze. Salt-glazed cheramic is very hard and therefore extremely durable.
As the items are hand decorated, two items may not turn out the same, and the decoration patterns may vary slightly from item to item.
