Cheese mats are used underneath the cheese moulds in cheese trays and as a bottom piece for the cheeses to rest on while maturing.
The fine meshed cheese mats are ideal to line the bottom of cheese trays for moulds to rest on when draining whey. They are also very convenient to mature cheeses on, with the exception of mould cheeses.
We recommend you use only coarse mat to mature mould cheeses as the moulds are less likely to grow into the coarse mats and stick to them.
Size: Approx. 25,6 cm x 25,6 cm, designed to fit in to our cheese trays.
We happily supply other sizes and cuts on request.
Made from food-grade plastic. Dishwasher and scalding safe.
