Enamel simmer pot, 20 litres, for electrical cookers. Useful for simmer cooking at low temperatures, pasteurization of milk etc. It provides you with good temperature control even when heating smaller portions of liquid.
Pour water into the electric cooker, set simmer pot into electric cooker and set the temperature. Whatever you put in the simmer pot will warm up slowly or kept warm without direct contact with the bottom plate of the electric cooker.
The lid for the electrical cooker also fits as a lid for the simmer pot.
Usefull in many applications in which the direct contact with the bottom electrical cooker is not desired - for example, heating the milk for cheese-making or producing large portions of yogurt.
The simmer pot fit into electrical cookers with an inner diameter of 34,6 cm.
