Cheese mats can be used underneath the cheese moulds in cheese trays and also for cheeses to rest on while maturing.
The coarse structured cheese mats are ideal to mature mould cheeses on because the molds are less likely to grow into the coarse mesh and stick to them.
The fine meshed cheese mats works best for whey drainage and to mature cheeses on that do not develop surface moulds.
Size: Approx. 25,6 cm x 25,6 cm, designed to fit in to our cheese trays.
We happily supply other sizes and cuts on request.
Made from food-grade plastic. Dishwasher and scalding safe.
